Me-Made-May '12 - I'm In!
I love challenges! They're so great for motivating me to sew new items or actually wear the things I make. Zo's challenge in particular will do both! This will be my second self-stitched challenge and I feel much better prepared this time. So, here's my pledge:
"I, Jennifer of The Musings of a Dedicated Housefiancee, sign up as a participant of Me-Made-May '12. I endeavor to wear one sewn/refasioned item at least four times a week through the month of May 2012."
Of course, after submitting, I realized my wording is a bit off (what can I say, it was early!). No, I won't be wearing the same single item four times a week - haha! :-P I will wear at least four self-stitched items each week through the month of May.
I'll probably do a round-up post each week on either Friday or the following Monday, rather than daily posts. (That may change once I work out what works best.)
Are you in? x

I wanted to join, but on Zo's blog, said that registration was closed?
ReplyDeleteHmm... Her post from this morning (about the Flickr and Facebook pages) asks that you sign up before the "witching hour" on April 30th. I submitted my pledge this morning and joined the Flickr group, which requires her approval so, I'm sure you can still join :-) I hope you do!
DeleteWay to go Jennifer! I'm thinking of joining in too. I don't have a lot of me-made-items, but that doesn't mean I can't modify it a bit.
ReplyDeleteI do hope you decide to! You could always start small this year and increase the challenge next year. Even participating in a small capacity is fun and shows you where your wardrobe gaps are.
DeleteI'll be there. I think we'll have a fun group this year since it's only happening this once.
ReplyDeleteYay! I'm so glad your joining! I think you're right - it's now or never (this year anyway) so, SO many people are playing along! What fun!
